Healthwatch Norfolk are dedicated to providing easy and safe access to care for everyone in Norfolk, including refugees.

As Norfolk welcomes refugees from Ukraine, Healthwatch Norfolk have translated and sourced information on accessing health care to give new arrivals extra information and advice about our services:

To access NHS 111 in another language, you just need to say “interpreter” to the call handler and then say the language you wish to communicate in.

King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council has created a guide for people in its area with useful information for people in that area and local charities offering support, as well as some contact details for national organisations who could help refugees anywhere in Norfolk. If anyone is struggling to access a Covid-19 jab, particularly in a rural area, the Jab Cab can be used for free transport to and from a booked COVID-19 vaccination appointment across Norfolk & Waveney – Grab a jab with the Jab Cab – Norfolk and Waveney CCG
