Norfolk and Norwich Hospital’s Dementia Fayre returns

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital’s (NNUH) Dementia Fayre will return on Wednesday 21st May, 2025.

The event will be held in the East Atrium and Benjamin Gooch Lecture Theatre between 10am and 4pm and will offer advice and support to people and families affected by dementia.

This year, teams from Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service will be on hand to talk about home fire safety for vulnerable and elderly residents.

Also in attendance will be Norfolk Police, Age UK Norfolk, Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, Adult Social Services, Age UK Norwich and the NNUH Dementia Support team, among others.

Liz Yaxley, NNUH Dementia Services Manager, said: “The Dementia Fayre is one of our highlights of the calendar year because of the level of support we receive from the local dementia support community and we see how valued the event is for our patients, carers and families affected by dementia.”

“The aim has always been to provide as much information and support to people living with dementia in a caring and supportive environment – we are looking forward to welcoming a host of experts and organisations to the hospital on the day.”
