Gold Award for hospital care

A Norfolk hospital has won a gold award to recognise its work at making sure joint replacement procedures are the best they can be.

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn was also recognised for its work making sure patient safety standards are high when hips, knees, ankles, elbows or shoulders are replaced.

Rebecca Martin, Medical Director at The QEH, said: “We are incredibly proud to receive the NJR Quality Data Provider Gold award. Improving patient safety is at the heart of everything we do at The QEH, and we are committed to ensuring that every patient receives the highest standards of care. This recognition is a testament to the hard work of our orthopaedic teams and their ongoing dedication to delivering exceptional patient care.”

Mr. Tim Wilton, Medical Director of the NJR, added: “Congratulations to The QEH team for achieving the NJR Quality Data Provider status.
