Have you had an NHS Health check recently?
Are you approaching the age where you would be eligible for one?
We are working with Norfolk County Council to understand more about people’s experiences of the free NHS Health Checks for people aged 40-74.
NHS Health Checks can tell you whether you’re at higher risk of getting certain health problems, such as heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure.
Find out more about NHS Health Checks here.
We are interested in talking to those who are in the eligible age range for a health check (40-74) as well as those aged 30+ who are approaching eligibility, or those over 74 who have had a health check in the past 5 years.
This is an updated assessment of public opinion of the NHS Health Check programme, following an evaluation we carried out in 2023. Following this, we made a number of recommendations to Norfolk County Council’s public health team and are now assessing the extent to which the amendments made to the programme have impacted take up of appointments and patient experience.
