Just over a week after a major consultation was launched into the future of the NHS, people in Norfolk are being urged to make sure they have their say.
The Government is asking people what they would like from the NHS with the results helping to create a 10 Year Plan.
You can share your views by logging onto the change.nhs.uk website.
Whether you have ideas, want to share your experiences of care and how it can be improved, or highlight good practice, the NHS is keen to hear your views.
Alex Stewart, chief executive of Healthwatch Norfolk (pictured above), said: “I would urge everyone to spend a few minutes completing the survey. This is a chance to ensure your views can be considered as the Government maps out how healthcare will work over the next decade.
“We are well aware of the challenges we face in Norfolk around the services that need support, the difficulties of connecting many rural communities to ensure they can have access to care, and helping to ensure that everyone can get the treatment and support they need regardless of who they are.
“This is a great opportunity to ensure your voice counts when it comes to shaping the future.”
Louise Ansari, chief executive of Healthwatch England, added: “”All too often, people face unequal access to care, with disabled people and those on lower incomes being particularly at risk. The NHS belongs to us all, so you must speak up and help create a health service that is fit for the future – equal and inclusive for everyone.”
