Queen Elizabeth Hospital feedback report February 2024

In February 2024, we visited the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn to talk to patients about their experiences with health and social care services. During the visit, we received 28 reviews for the hospital with an average star rating of 4.1 out of five.

Most people told use they had positive experiences of care, and either they or their relatives were treated well by staff. Some people also suggested some areas for improvement including long waits and limited communication in Accident and Emergency and improvements to locker facilities on the MRI Medical Admissions Unit.

Our team did note some confusion around signage in the hospital in terms of positioning and what some of it meant, but they also noticed the excellent work by staff and volunteers giving people directions to different parts of the hospital.

We had not visited the hospital before and found it difficult from the road to find out work out where to turn in to the car park. When we got to the front entrance we asked at the desk where to go and the staff were very helpful.
