Providing primary care services to the patients of Fairstead

Healthwatch Norfolk worked with Vida Healthcare, which operates the Fairstead Surgery in King’s Lynn, to get feedback from patients and the local community about the surgery’s future.

Vida proposed closing the building as it was not compliant with Care Quality Commission (CQC) building standards and there were also significant issues around space, which impacted productivity, safety and efficiency.

Healthwatch Norfolk collected feedback from the local community which formed part of a report submitted to the West Norfolk Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
