Patient and professional experiences of using digital tools in primary care Year Two report

This report look at ways patients access care digitally by exploring the introduction of the Shared Care Record, public awareness of the NHS app, and other innovative uses of digital tools.

It found that Digital Health Hubs in libraries are helping people use and understand apps and accessing care by computer, and some GP surgeries are using various methods to support digital access such as use of QR codes which can be scanned by phones and tablets to access information, and a practice Patient Participation Group (PPG) which makes sure the language used digitally is understandable and clear.

I would like an introduction to the app with a presentation to a group and handouts to read with a contact to help with any concerns/questions. I currently have very little understanding of what is on offer through the app so any education would be helpful.
