Ashill Lodge feedback report February 2024

In February 2024, we visited Ashill Lodge, which provides residential care for people aged 65 or over. At the time of the visit, there were 31 people living there, several with dementia. Many of the people living there were not able to engage with officers, so we spoke to a small selection of people during our visit.

We spoke to two people living at the home, and one relative. These reviews have an average star rating of 4.33 out of 5.

The people we spoke to thought highly of the staff and were generally content with the care they received. There were differing views on room size, with one person being satisfied and another feeling her room was small. The menu variety was also mentioned positively along with teh activities on offer.

Overall people were happy with the home and the levels of care provided.

I'm happy here. I get on with everybody. If there are any activities, I get myself involved.
