Online workshop to enable Carer’s Voices to be heard

Carer’s Voice Norfolk and Waveney are holding two workshops to ensure that Carer’s voices are heard as part of Norfolk County Council’s Adult Social Care strategy update.

Adult social care covers a wide range of activities to enable people to live independently, stay well and safe. Promoting Independence is the term used to describe Norfolk County Council’s vision for social care. They want to support people to be independent, well, and able to deal with life’s challenges.

Norfolk has a changing and growing population and services need to be planned to be long lasting and financially stable. Norfolk County Council want to hear from the public about your needs so they can make sure the plan for the next 3-5 years is what you need and would like to see. This project is called Conversations Matter.

Carers Voice are holding two online workshops for Carers to share their thoughts and feedback on adult social care and help ensure services are shaped in a way Carers want and need.

The workshops will be held on the following dates and times:
Tuesday 22nd August, 1.30pm-3.30pm
Wednesday 23rd August, 10.30am-3.30pm

Another date may be added if the above workshops are over subscribed. Workshop spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

You will receive a £20 M&S voucher for your time.

Carer’s Voice will be sending out further information about the workshops to those who express an interest in joining, including the topics to be covered.

To register your interest in a place email [email protected] stating which date you would like to attend.
