The work of Healthwatch Norfolk during the past 12 months will be revealed at its Annual General Meeting.
The event on Monday July 22 will set out the range of projects and work undertaken by the organisation in the 2023-24 financial year.
Healthwatch Norfolk gathers the experiences of people’s health and social care and passes them on to decision-makers to help them shape and improve services.
This year, it will be held in The Lion’s Den at Wymondham Rugby Club at 9.30am and will include a round-up of the past year’s work including a look at some of the projects it has undertaken.
If you would like to come along and/or ask any questions, please contact [email protected] for further information and to help Healthwatch Norfolk arrange numbers and ensure accessibility arrangements are in place for anyone coming along in person. If you prefer, you can call us on 0808 16 9669.
The AGM will be filmed and will be available to watch online on the Healthwatch website and YouTube channel soon after the event.
Alex Stewart, chief executive of Healthwatch Norfolk, said: “We will be sharing full details of the work we have done in the last financial year.
“It has seen us gather thousands of experiences from people and take on a wide range of projects including talking to residents of care homes across Norfolk for those with learning disabilities and/or autism, and spending a week in each of the three of the county’s hospitals understanding the issues, concerns and good practice from patients, their families, carers, and staff.”
Healthwatch Norfolk will also be holding a Dental Summit this autumn at the Garage in Norwich to look at the issues around dentistry in more depth. You can find out more here
