Text says "Christmas in Norfolk"

Healthwatch Norfolk has created this webpage to offer information and advice on local schemes offering warm spaces, and community schemes for those facing Christmas alone this winter.

Christmas can be a lonely time of year for those living alone, who live away from family, or for someone who has been widowed.  Healthwatch Norfolk are among the Norfolk organisations making community support and events available to those who need it this Christmas.

We have compiled a list of the events, groups, and websites that offer aid for winter 2022/2023, including support for those with no fixed abode. Please see below.

If you are looking for somewhere to enjoy a Christmas meal and some company on Christmas Day, this list compiled by Norfolk County Council contains details for events and booking.  Click the Meals and Company button to view the list of Christmas day lunches and food in Norfolk 2022.  If you need support making a booking, we will be happy to help. You can contact us on 08081689669.

If you are in danger of becoming homeless or have no where to stay contact Shelter now.

You can call the Shelter helpline if you are homeless, have nowhere to stay tonight, are worried about losing your home, or are at risk of harm or abuse in your home. They have a Norwich office and can be reached on: 0330 175 5121.

No one should have to face Christmas alone. If you are looking for more support on how to keep well this winter, please visit our Christmas information page.
