Share your views on the future of the Vulnerable Adults Service
NHS Norfolk and Waveney wants to hear your views about the future of the Vulnerable Adults Service Health Inclusion Hub.

NHS Norfolk and Waveney says it wants to make sure it gets the best value for the public money it receives. It has developed some options about how the hub could run in the future, and wants to get people’s views on them.
Vulnerable Adults Service Health Inclusion Hub
Based in Norwich, it brings together specialist healthcare professionals to provide enhanced medical support for people with a complex range of needs.
It helps those who are socially excluded, live chaotic lives, are at risk of having poor health, and may not be on electronic health systems. Many of the users are homeless.
The team give support for up to six months before integrating patients back into one of 20 GP practices with a plan for their ongoing help.
Officials are suggesting two options for its future:
A – Continue providing the service from its current base.
B – Create a team which will provide support to different communities across Norfolk and Waveney, and close the Norwich base.

Because of the calling of some council by-elections, face-to-face engagement has been cancelled.
In the period immediately before an election, restrictions are placed on the use of public resources and the communication activities of public bodies. This is to avoid the actions of public bodies distracting from or having influence on election campaigns.
This means drop-in sessions have had to be cancelled until after these elections have been held.
They have been rescheduled to:
Monday May 19 – The Hub, Recorder Road, Norwich
Tuesday May 20 – Bishopbridge House, Norwich
Wednesday May 21 – Under One Roof, Westwick Street, Norwich
Thursday May 22 – Dibden Road Hostel, Norwich
Friday May 23 – St Martin’s House, Norwich
To find out more about these events, click the button below, or call Healthwatch Norfolk on 0808 168 9669 (lines are open 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday).
What happens after I have shared feedback?
Because of the delays to engagement due to the recently called by-election, the date to receive feedback will be extended. That date is now 11.59pm on May 25.
Each piece will be individually analysed by the Healthwatch Norfolk team and a full independent consultation report published.
This report will then be considered by the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Board.
