Do social services listen to you or your loved one?

How well do social services listen to Norfolk’s over-65s? We are working with Norfolk County Council’s Adult Social Services to find out what the county’s older people and their carers think of the help they got, and the experiences they had.

We want to talk to:

People who are 65 or older,

or look after someone who is 65 or older,

and have had contact with Adult Social Services in the last 18 months.

Who would this apply to?

If you have had support to live in a residential or nursing home.

Care in your own home.

Help to make your home safe and comfortable to return to after time in hospitals.

Reablement support (including Norfolk First Support)

Visited day centres.

Received welfare or money advice from Norfolk County Council.

Assistive technology to help you live independently.

Used a service to communicate with Norfolk County Council like POhWER, Age UK or Citizen’s Advice.

If so, we would chat to you on the phone and find out more.

If you would like to share your experiences, you can contact John Spall, our Research and Projects Manager, on:
